Know all men by these presents, that we, William McCracken and Lilly Reed, late Lilly McCracken, of the County of Guernsey in the state of Ohio, -Robert McCracken of the county of Fulton in the state of Illinois, and John Harbison and Martha Harbison, his wife, late Martha McCracken, of the county of Leavenworth in the state of Kansas in the United States, in North America. Said William McCracken, Lilly Reed, Robert McCracken, and Martha Harbison being sons and daughters of Alexander McCracken and Margaret Marshall, his wife, of the county of Armagh, Ireland, have made, constituted and appointed, and by these presents do make, constitute and appoint, and in our place and stead put and depute Alexander McCracken of the town of Cambridge in the county of Guernsey aforesaid, banker, our true and lawful attorney, for us, and in our names, and for our use and benefit, to ask, demand, sue for, recover, and receive all such sum or sums of money, debts, goods, wares, and other demands whatsoever which now is or may be hereafter due, owing, payable, and belonging to us, or either of us by any person or persons whosoever and wheresoever within the bailiwick of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland as heirs at law of the sai Alexander McCracken and Margaret McCracken, of said county of Armagh, Ireland, deceased, or either of them, or otherwise, and upon receipt thereof, or of any part thereof, acquaintances or other good and effectual discharges in our names jointly or separately, or otherwise, as the case shall require to make, execute and give.
And we further hereby authorize our said attorney to sell, assign, and transfer unto any person or persons whomsoever

all such lands, tenements, rents, hereditaments, elderships, heritages, possessions, or real property of any sort or kind in the Bailiwick of Ireland, or of the said United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, belonging to us or either of us in any way or manner whatsoever, with full power to make, sign, seal, and pass and consent to all contracts, transfer deeds, or other legal consequences of the said property or any part thereof to the purchaser or purchasers, in conformity with the laws and customs of the said United Kingdom, and to receive and give receipts for the consideration money arising from such sales and transfers. And further we authorize our said attorney to make and consent to all partages par advance de succession, or other sharings of property to which we or either of us are or may become entitled. And further to represent our persons as plantiff or defendants in any suit or suits touching real property, with full power and authority to appeal from any decision which may be given by the Royal Court, to her majesty and the Lords of her most Honorable Privy Council and afterwards to direct from the same should the said attorney deem it advisable so to do. Giving and by these presents, granting unto our said attorney our full and absolute power in the premises. And generally, all and every other act or acts, thing and things, device or devices, in the law whatsoever needful and necessary to be done in and about the premises, for us, and in our or either of our names to do execute and perform as fully largely and amply to all intents and purposes as we or either of us might or could do if personally present, and attorneys one or more under him for the purpose aforesaid to make and constitute and again at pleasure to revoke hereby

ratifying and holding for him and effectual all and whatsoever our said attorney shall lawfully do in and about the premises by virtue of these presents. In witness whereof, we have hereunto set our hands and seals, this thirtieth day of May, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight.

Before me Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas and for said County of Guernsey personally applied Wm. McCracken and Lilly Reed who acknowledged that they did sign and seal the foregoing Power of Attorney and that the same is their free act and deed.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and official seal done at Cambridge, Ohio, this 30th day of May A.D. 1868.
