Dear Sir:

Your favor of the 25th inst. is at hand, and contents noted.  No one at the present time engaged in the prosecution of many foreign claims, I have “A No. #1” correspondents throughout Great Britain and the continent of Europe.  Should your matter demand personal attention we would much rather trust ourselves on the ground than any other party.  Letter writing is well enough, but often, it don’t “fill the bill.”  If you will write us something of the nature of the claim we will take the matter into consideration, do all we can for you here, carefully and promptly and aid you in every way in any form.

Should it become necessary to go abroad that can be arranged hereafter.  It is difficult, very difficult, to fix upon any charges in regard to these foreign matters.  No pressure, from what you write that this claim is to be prosecuted upon a contingent fee.  We will make any arrangement with you that you may consider just and fair.  Have you any proposition to make?  We don’t charge high in any matter, either here or abroad, but I do a large business and keep our clients.  Of course, if we knew more about this matter and just what condition it is vowing we could write more definitely.  Please let me hear from you at greater length.

Yours Very Truly,

Baker & Green
